A few weeks ago at the Retail Week Ecommerce Summit it was a statistic relating to one of our own clients, Pretty Green, and its Fits.me Virtual Fitting Room.
Pretty Green’s head of digital Tim Kalic stood up and revealed to delegates that his fit-related returns rate has fallen from 13% to 3% because of Pretty Green’s virtual fitting room.
Thanks to Christmas and the January sales this must be the start of a terrifying time of year for whoever is responsible for garment returns; some fashion retailers will see return rates of up to 70% come January.
