Bookseller Watermark made its UK debut in London’s King’s Cross station this week as part of the unveiling of the remodelled concourse.

The bookseller – part of the French LS Travel Retail group – is eyeing further travel locations. The 1,076 sq ft Watermark store is LS Travel Retail’s first in Europe and seventh globally. UK & Ireland boss Fin Casey said although the trading climate was tough “there’s still a place for the classic bookshop”.
