Baker in line for £6.5m
The top Alliance Boots directors will share a payout of£10.2 million through share options if the£11.1 billion takeover of the chain by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and executive deputy chairman Stefano Pessina goes ahead.

Top payouts will go to chief executive Richard Baker (£6.5 million), retail director Scott Wheway (£1.2 million) and finance director George Fairweather (£600,000).

The GMB union described the payout as 'obscene and unacceptable'.
