Marks & Spencer has drafted in new celebrity faces to front print, in-store and online campaigns which focus for the first time on brands including Autograph.

The campaigns go live this Thursday, September 1, and the Autograph promotion features Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds, star of The Proposal, and actress and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who starred in Transformers.

Marks & Spencer executive director Steve Sharp said: “It’s a very different campaign for M&S as it’s the first time that we have focussed on one of our brands in this way. We are very proud of the result – a set of truly stunning photographs that totally encapsulates the Autograph brand.”

He added: “Rosie and Ryan are the perfect fit for Autograph – beautiful, exclusive and absolutely contemporary. On set, they worked together to deliver a mesmerising performance which allowed us to capture shots that sizzle with excitement and an air of mystery.”

Supermodel David Gandy will front a campaign for M&S’s Collezione Italian-inspired brand while a swinging-60s inspired campaign for the Limited Collection has been shot by legendary fashion photographer Rankin.

Marks & Spencer said that existing advertising faces Lisa Snowdon, Jamie Redknapp and Twiggy all “remain members of the M&S family” and will model the retailer’s biggest brands, M&S Woman and M&S Man, during the autumn.
