The retail weather forecast from Saturday July 6 to Friday July 12, 2019
The week last year
Temperatures continue to average well above normal even as cloud cover increases across the country.
The week this year
It will be a mostly seasonable-to-cool week for much of Britain, with Scotland likely being a bit cooler than normal and Ireland a bit warmer.
Last July was very warm weather, so this year will still be trending lower than last year.
Some heavy showers will fall from southern Ireland into Wales and northern England. Scotland will see a few showers but the South will be largely sunny and dry.

Mindset
Weather-driven comparisons will once again struggle versus last year in the cooler conditions. Rain will slow footfall in the North but it will be more favourable in the South in milder and drier conditions.
