Footwear specialist Aldo has opened the doors to a new flagship store on London’s Oxford Street.
Aldo is now welcoming shoppers into its second flagship store on London’s iconic Oxford Street, which opened its doors last week.
The new 1,500 sq ft store can be found at One Oxford Street, next to Tottenham Court Road station and neighbours the likes of Uniqlo and Kiko Milano.
Aldo said the store has been designed to create a “fresh, modern aesthetic” and has subtle nods throughout London’s heritage.
The brand called the store “an immersive space” which showcases its full range of footwear, handbags and accessories, including its new spring/summer 2025 collection.
Aldo noted that the new store has been focused around Gen Z shoppers and said the space reflects its core brand values of “style, comfort, innovation and self-expression”.
Aldo chief executive of the UK and Turkey Kemal Güven said: “We are excited to be opening our second flagship store on Oxford Street.
“This expansion highlights our ongoing commitment to the UK market and confidence in the future of the high street. Our new store will offer an elevated shopping experience, and we look forward to welcoming shoppers from across the capital and beyond.”
The new opening marks a “key step” in the brand’s expansion strategy in the UK and brings its total UK store estate to six including Lakeside Shopping Centre, Bluewater shopping centre, both Westfield shopping centres in Stratford City and White City, as well as its existing store on Oxford Street.
Aldo is rebuilding its UK store estate following the closure of the majority of its stores after it went into administration in the UK in May 2020, at the same time as its Canadian parent company Aldo Group, citing the Covid-19 pandemic’s impact on the business.
