JD Sports has opened its first ever Las Vegas flagship as it looks to push forward with its plans to open experiential physical retail destinations around the globe.

The new 29,000 sq ft store on Las Vegas Boulevard opened on June 14, and the retailer said it brings “the brand’s signature retail experience and curated product mix” while also “linking global style to JD’s iconic retail locations around the world”.
It’s the third new flagship the sportswear brand has opened in the US this year and brings its total store footprint in North America and Canada to 339 stores.
JD Sports said the store was a blend of “physical and digital [retailing] to reflect the unstoppable energy of youth and JD’s Forever Forward mission” and would be used for new product drops and “only-at-JD brand moments” with giant brands such as Nike, Jordan, New Balance, Adidas, On Running and Asics.
The store will also carry unique ranges and collections designed with Supply & Demand, New Era, Von Dutch and Hoodrich.
JD North America managing director John Hall said: “Las Vegas is known for delivering next-level experiences, making it the perfect location for JD’s next US flagship. We’re bringing our customers a retail experience that can’t be found anywhere else in the market, serving up the freshest and most desirable product from the biggest names in sports fashion.
“With our new store on the Las Vegas Boulevard, we’re building on growing momentum across North America to bring customers iconic experiences as we continue to propel youth culture forward, on every corner of the world.”
