M&Co’s administrator Teneo confirmed redundancies in December last year prior to the business being acquired by AK Retail Holdings, which owns Yours Clothing, Long Tall Sally and BadRhino.

The M&Co stores were not included in the sale, resulting in up to 1,900 job cuts, as first reported by The Guardian.
