High-end fashion retailer Flannels has opened the doors to its “one-of-a-kind” retail concept and exhibition The Renaissance Flagship on Oxford Street, celebrating pop icon Beyoncé’s current world tour.

The pop-up will welcome shoppers until June 5 – the day after Beyoncé’s five-night London residency finishes – and has been designed to “immerse audiences deep into Renaissance’s energy and storytelling”.

The store opening follows Flannels’ recent rebranding of its flagship Oxford Street store to Flannels X in a bid to focus on ”the next-generation consumer”.

Flannels said the store is “offering the public an immersion into the artist’s world” and called it a “multimedia showcase” celebrating the collections, album and world tour.

As the world tour’s luxury retail partner, the Flannels’ flagship will feature a range of clothing, accessories and memorabilia.

Customers can also buy two T-shirts exclusively available at Flannels X, as well as a limited-edition product extension in collaboration with Balmain.

The store also houses an exclusive exhibition of Renaissance Couture by Beyoncé x Balmain, which shoppers can find on the ground floor.

Flannels chief marketing officer Beckie Stanion said: “This spectacular project truly comes to life at the apex of everything we care about at Flannels – a perfect storm of fashion, art and music.

“As a business, across the past few months, we’ve been celebrating iterations of self-expression, freedom and boss energy. What a dream come true to now welcome the icon of those ideals to our store.”
