Asda sales jump as owner Mohsin Issa hails ‘good progress’
For the first quarter ending March 31, Asda said ex-fuel sales increased by 6.6% to £5.3bn and like-for-like sales increased by 1.4%.
The retailer also reported a 1.3% increase in like-for-like grocery sales during the quarter.
