Staff can request a day off to participate in The Big Help Out, a national day of volunteering across local groups and charities to mark the coronation. 

Colleagues wanting to book time off will still be paid and their holiday entitlement will be unaffected. Staff who choose to work on May 8 will receive double-time pay.
