CMA finds branded suppliers have ‘raised prices more than their own cost increases’

The new review looked at competition across the supply chain with a particular focus on branded and own-label food suppliers. Evidence suggests that products such as baby formula, baked beans, mayonnaise and pet food has contributed to higher price food inflation.
