Inflation falls to 1.5% in August as supermarket price war pushes down prices

Prices of food and non-alcoholic drinks fell by 1.1% in August

The supermarket price war has pushed prices down for another month as the CPI rate of inflation fell to 1.5% in August, from 1.6% in July.
