Customers of the grocer will be able to use the Too Good to Go app to purchase boxes of unsold fruit and vegetables, bakery and deli items worth at least £10 for as little as £3.09 across all of Morrisons 494 supermarkets nationwide from November 26.
This follows a trial with the app and is part of Morrisons’ pledge to reduce food waste across its network by 50% by 2030.
Morrisons said it expects to distribute 350,000 boxes of unsold food in 2020, which will reduce CO2 emissions by 882 tonnes.
