Boots has unveiled its redesigned store on Princes Street, Edinburgh, featuring a brand new beauty hall and healthcare space with private consultation rooms.

The health and beauty retailer has transformed its store on Princes Street, Edinburgh to create “the very best shopping experience” for customers, offering a host of new and exclusive brands and services.

The store, built in 1912, now features an extensive beauty hall featuring 12 new premium beauty and haircare brands including Kylie Cosmetics, Sol de Janeiro, Caudalie, Philip Kingsley and Fenty Beauty.

Boots has also refitted the healthcare space located on the first floor, giving customers access to a new dispensary and two new private consultation rooms. Healthcare services include vaccinations for Covid, chickenpox and HPV as well as NHS Pharmacy First services and blood pressure checks.

The store is now home to Scotland’s first ‘World of Hearing’ space, where customers can test out a range of hearing aids in a variety of virtual settings and discover what it would sound like if they were in a busy restaurant or at a concert for instance.

Store manager Kirsten Darling said: “We are delighted to unveil our new and refurbished store to the local community. The store really is a one-stop shop for health and beauty at the heart of Edinburgh, and we are so proud to continue serving the community on such an iconic and well-known street. The store has a lot of history, having originally being built in 1912, and now this refit will see us fit to serve into the future.

“We have lots of exciting new beauty brands, revamped health and beauty areas, as well as expert advice and services available. I’d like to say a huge thank you to my store team who have been amazing throughout the whole refit process and we hope customers love the new-look store as much as we do.”
