Beauty brand Glossier has opened the doors of its ninth and latest flagship store in SoHo, New York City.
Located on Spring Street, the store brings together Glossier playfulness in the form of pastel interiors and neon signs and New York’s raw and industrial loft aesthetic.
The store features hidden touches and odes to NYC with its barrel-vaulted ceilings and large mosaic-tile murals similar to those that can be found across the city’s subway stations.
Spread over 7,000 sq ft, the store is designed to be a communal space with two 15-foot-long tables where shoppers can find, try and buy products.
Customers can also buy exclusive brand merchandise at the gift shop in the store. The beauty retailer will donate $5 to a local non-profit organisation, the Sadie Nash Leadership Project, for each Glossier NYC hoodie and Moodboard sold at the store. The Sadie Nash Leadership Project works towards empowering and equipping women and youth of colour.
Glossier chief executive Kyle Leahy said: “We’re thrilled to return to our downtown roots with the opening of Glossier NYC, right in SoHo, the neighbourhood where it all began.
“This new SoHo flagship is an incredible representation of our brand in real life, where guests will be able to immerse themselves in all things Glossier: trying products; engaging with our editors and community; and sparking beauty discovery and joy. We’re excited for both our loyal fans and new customers to experience this stunning flagship space.”
