Liz Davies joins as design and buying boss
Liz Davies, one of the founders of fashion giant Next, has joined the board at Hobbs as design and buying director.

She will focus on developing the buying process and expanding the Hobbs brand into complementary areas.

While at Next, Davies was responsible for the launch of the retailer's Next Directory as well as new menswear, kidswear, lingerie, accessories and jewellery ranges

Since leaving Next she has been involved in the creation of Asda's George fashion range and founded lifestyle business All in Black, based in the Channel Islands. She has also held a position on the Mothercare board.

Hobbs also announced it has appointed Nicky Dulieu as finance director. She joins from Marks & Spencer, where she held numerous senior positions, most recently as retail stores finance director. She replaces Mike Trotman, who is leaving to take up a new role in the private sector.
