Scandinavian-owned furnishings group Jysk has announced a five-year UK expansion strategy to increase its store portfolio to 52 stores by August 2024.

The expansion plan is part of a wider group strategy to reach a 5,000 store target worldwide.

The home retailer plans to increase its UK stores from 16 to 19 by August this year with another six or seven in the pipeline for next year.
