Søstrene Grene is set to open a new London flagship on Argyll Street, near Oxford Street in a few weeks.

The new two-storey flagship will open on March 28 and will offer customers a range of homewares, furniture, lifestyle products, and arts and crafts ranges.

The new store will feature an ‘Experience Room’ and, for the first time, a ‘Senses Room’ which is a new concept for the retailer. Søstrene Grene said the new concept is designed to “engage all five senses in an immersive and interactive shopping experience.”

Originally hailing from Denmark, the retailer now has over 300 stores globally, including more than 45 in the UK.

The new store on Argyll Street adds to the brand’s presence in London joining stores in locations such as Tottenham Court Road and Coal Drops Yard in King’s Cross.

The brand is set to open another London store in Canary Wharf later in the year.

Søstrene Grene chief executive and co-owner Mikkel Grene, said: “This opening represents a new chapter for Søstrene Grene in the UK. We’ve always envisioned a flagship store in the heart of London, and being so close to Oxford Circus is a real pinch-me moment.

“Since opening less than 18 months ago, our Tottenham Court Road flagship has been a huge success, and we’re excited to build on that momentum. We can’t wait to share our products with even more people in one of the world’s most iconic shopping destinations.”
