Habitat will open an initial tranche of five concessions within Sainsbury’s larger stores, as the grocer begins to integrate the homewares business and Argos into its portfolio.

As the first of the concessions opened its doors at Sainsbury’s newly revamped Nine Elms supermarket, Habitat boss Claire Askem spoke to Retail Week about the thinking behind the smaller formats and what the future holds for the brand under new ownership.
