Made.com chief executive Ning Li, who conceived the European designer furniture brand in 2010, spoke to Retail Week around the etailer’s full-year results and future plans.

He relayed how the pureplay grew sales by 44% in its full year to December 31 as well as bolstering its international operations, which now account for 31% of Made’s total sales.

Turning then to current trading, Li updated Retail Week on the company’s progress in Germany, the impact of Brexit, and the success of Made’s largest showroom in Paris, which opened earlier this year.

Li also unveiled plans to expand the brand’s product range, introducing a new line of home accessories in October this year, and explained why he intends to refurbish Made’s Soho showroom.
