Arcadia tycoon Sir Philip Green opened the doors of Topshop’s first store in China today, with a 14,000 sq ft flagship in Hong Kong.

Located in the busy Queen’s Road Central region, the shop will offer Topshop’s seasonal collection Unique, its premium line Boutique and its designer collaborations, alongside its main collection. More than 300 new products will be delivered to the site every week.

Topshop fans flocked to see Green cut the ribbon alongside Korean singer Kim Hyuyeon and Taiwanese actress Gwei lun Mei.

Green said: “This is a very exciting step in the continued growth of Topshop as a global, yet uniquely British, brand. I am confident that the fashion-loving Hong Kong customers will enjoy the retail experience and fantastic product offer that Topshop will deliver for them.”

Topshop will open a space within the LAB Concept later this year.
