Birmingham is the UK’s top location for mobile shopping, according to eBay.
The west Midlands city is followed by south London, Sheffield, Nottingham and Belfast in the top five m-commerce hotspots in the UK.
Clothes, shoes and accessories are the most popular items being snapped up on smartphones and tablets, according to research by eBay, followed by technology and cars.
Last year, $13bn global sales were made through a mobile device, more than double than the previous year. The marketplace expects mobile sales to reach $20bn in 2013.
