Malaysian government moots allowing foreign hypermarket operators to open convenience stores

The Malaysian government is considering allowing foreign hypermarket operators such as Tesco to open convenience stores in the country, domestic trade and consumer affairs minister Datuk Ismail Sabri Yaakob said.
