The online world is filled with brands that have become as well known as some high street stalwarts, and much of the retail industry’s most interesting innovation is to be found online. Our 50 great websites feature has before provided a snapshot of the world of etail, highlighting a handful of great sites, and we are looking for nominations once more.

Many a canny young upstart has used the web to introduce new, exciting brands into the retail industry, and of course more traditional retailers are often clever users of online technology as well. We’re looking for nominations of the transactional websites you love, and we’ll feature as many as possible in our next 50 great websites feature.

To nominate a website simply leave a comment below stating which site you think is great, and a couple of lines on why it stands out. It’s good to have as many quirky options as possible, as we get a lot for Amazon, Asos and Ocado, so other ideas are very welcome.

We’re after retailers using content cleverly, who have built up a strong sense of community, whose site is easy to use or who has been innovative and interesting. The only other stipulation is it can’t be a website you’re linked to in anyway.
