Migros Ticaret reports sales increase
Grocer Migros Ticaret has reported sales of TRL1.83bn (£639m) for the three-month period ending September 30, a 13.1% increase on the same period last year. Gross profit rose by 15.2% to TRL468m (£163m).Sales benefited from store openings, as well as a focus on the private label category and fresh products.

Spar unveils group turnover increase
Grocery retailer Spar has unveiled a 12.2% increase in group turnover to ZAR43.2bn (£3.1bn) and a 7.5% rise in trading profit to ZAR1.5bn (£107m), for its financial year ended September 30.Sales growth was helped by internal inflation of 6.1%.

Electricals retailer Darty reports fall in revenue
