Health and beauty retailer Superdrug is expanding its online marketplace to include a selection of 60 fashion brands such as Regatta, Nike and Blue Vanilla.
The new expansion aims to offer an “enhanced online shopping experience” to shop a wide range of products in health, beauty and fashion.
The 60 brands were chosen due to popularity and will tap into “high-demand” categories that are inclusive and diverse to cater to every customer.
The evolution into fashion complements Superdrug’s focus on its online and offline strategy which aims to “better serve customer need, by providing the best shopping experience across any channel, anytime, anywhere”.
Superdrug chief commercial officer Simon Comins said:“We are excited to offer our customers an even more diverse shopping experience, incorporating fashion brands that perfectly complement our existing ranges.
“We know this initiative addresses customer demand along with our ongoing commitment to offering an inclusive and broader product selection by giving them the best shopping experience.
“This move will not only strengthen our position as a go-to destination for a wide range of personal care and lifestyle products, but also present a new opportunity to connect with a large and highly engaged customer base that already loves these brands, unlocking new potential for online growth.”
