What was your first job in retailing?

Spend time working in stores. That’s where the magic lies.
What keeps you awake at night?
Thinking about if my organisation can move fast enough to keep up with the pace of.
What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
As cliched as it sounds, I am energised by the time I spend visiting our stores. The stories my associates share with me often make me smile and I return to the office with new ideas and a renewed commitment to do just a little bit better.
What’s your proudest achievement?
Getting healthy and staying fit. I have always struggled with my weight, but I managed to lose weight and instill some much healthier eating habits.

A photographer, a politician or a lawyer spring to mind.

Right now it’s Uniqlo. I’m impressed with its visual merchandising.
What was your last purchase?
Flowers from Borough Market.
