MySupermarket has launched an iPhone app that allows customers to compare the current deals at major supermarkets.
MySupermarket has launched an iPhone app that allows customers to compare the current deals at major supermarkets.Shoppers can see the best offers on products across Asda, Tesco, Ocado and Sainsbury’s, either comparing stores or looking at just the offers from their favourite supermarket.
The top offers can then be broken down by specific department including household, baby and beauty. For each product, shoppers will be able to see cheaper alternatives to the product and compare the prices across all the supermarkets. Unfortunately the product pages that the customer is taken to lack detail and do not contain links to the products online.
However, the technology does allow shoppers to scan the barcode of a product and see prices in other supermarkets. All the scanned items are then stored on the customer’s account meaning they can think about the weekly shop throughout the week and on the move.
