Munich’s biggest department store has emerged from a four-year revamp at a cost of a cool £75m.
The outcome of this lengthy project is a seven-floor emporium which specialises in an über-luxury selection, including shop-in-shops from Prada, Louis Vuitton, Miu-Miu, Burberry and a host of others. The floor-plate has risen from around 19,000 sq m to 33,000 sq m of selling space owing to the incorporation of a seven-floor extention on the site of a former synagogue.
