As the New Year nears, retail bosses tell Retail Week about their resolutions for 2017.

As Halfords celebrates its 125th anniversary in 2017, my retail resolution will be to continue to focus on delivering excellent customer service.

As experts in our markets of motoring and cycling, we are ideally placed to help customers navigate more complicated technology, advise on safety and comfort and meet customers’ desire for ‘do it for me’ car and bike services. 

We will continue to invest in relevant products and services, a great customer experience and, most importantly, our colleagues.

It will be important to do so and will help position Halfords for long-term growth, given the more challenging and uncertain macroeconomic backdrop and operating environment we all face.
