Lululemon’s staff discount is among the highest on offer at the UK’s biggest retailers, according to the Retail Week staff discount index 2025.

The leisurewear retailer topped the index with a staff discount of 60% off full-price items and 75% off products that are marked down in the sale.

The discount rate is one of the deepest in retail, considerably more than the median 20% rate offered to staff by the majority of other brands, and outpaces the likes of Lush, Superdry and Monsoon Accessorize, which offer their staff generous rates of 50% off.

Those working at Lululemon would be able to purchase its bestsellers for significantly reduced prices, for example, its men’s Pacebreaker shorts currently on sale for £44 would be just £11 for a staff member, while its full price women’s Align leggings at £98 would cost an employee less than £40.

The retailer also offers its employees a benefit it calls ‘Sweaty Pursuits’, a contribution towards drop-in gym classes or personal training worth hundreds of pounds per month.

The programme is among several wellness benefits being offered to staff working in retail today, as shown in the index, including discounted gym memberships and mental health support programmes, as well as high street discounts and private medical assistance.
