The man behind Next, George and Per Una wasn’t off the scene for long after quitting Marks & Spencer, going on to create his “affordable luxury” fashion brand, GIVe. It hasn’t been plain sailing and GIVe remains something of a work in progress, but Davies remains a hugely influential fashion figure.
