Falling only because his focus lies outside the UK, Peter Høgsted has taken to his role as Kingfisher international chief with gusto, overseeing a 78% surge to £125m in international profits in the year to January 31. He has also been charged with group sourcing, which he sees as one of the retailer’s biggest opportunities.
