US-based sports retailer Foot Locker has re-opened the doors to its flagship store on 34th Street in New York showcasing its new ‘Home Court’ concept.

Foot Locker’s new ‘Home Court’ concept store developed in partnership with Nike and Jordan Brand, highlights the retailer’s commitment to sneaker and basketball culture.

The store, described as a “premier, multi-brand basketball shopping destination” offers the latest on-court and off-court products from several brands and features street-inspired basketball design elements, immersive experiences and the latest 3D scanning technology to help customers find their ideal product fit.

In addition to Nike and Jordan Brand, the store houses Adidas, Puma, New Balance and Under Armour brands, among others.

The store also debuts the retailer’s fresh new concept for Kids Foot Locker, designed to cater to all “age groups and parents, fostering family connections and immersing young customers in sneaker culture.”

The flagship is part of the retailer’s Lace Up Plan, allowing it to scale the concept, with upcoming openings in Melbourne and Delhi – the company’s first store in India.

Mary Dillon, president and chief executive officer at Foot Locker, said: “Foot Locker ‘Home Court’ represents a pivotal advancement in how we connect with sneaker enthusiasts and elevate the basketball experience, in collaboration with our brand partners.

“Our reimagined 34th Street store aims to set the standard for excellence in omnichannel retail in line with our Lace Up Plan and deeply rooted in sneaker culture.”
