Australian technology, lifestyle and appliance retailer Harvey Norman has broken into the English market with its debut store in the Merry Hill centre in Dudley, West Midlands.
The new 57,000 sq ft store will offer a host of big brands in store, featuring an extensive range of products for the home.
Luxury furniture such as sofas, bedroom suites and mattresses can be purchased and browsed in store, as well as smaller kitchenware items.
A variety of home appliances, technology and entertainment are on display from big-named brands such as Dyson, Shark, Apple, Samsung, LG, Miele, Sage and many more.
There are also dedicated areas for each product category, including a cooking appliance centre specifically designed for Merry Hill, and in-store services such as click and collect.
The Australian retailer is already active in eight countries across the globe and its opening in Merry Hill forms a “new anchor” for the shopping complex.
Harvey Norman UK managing director Lachlan Roach said: “With over 300 stores in eight countries across the globe, it will be no surprise that we have been wanting to make our entrance to the English market for a while. The opportunity we had to open in a key national destination like Merry Hill was not one to miss and it makes for the perfect home for our flagship location.
“We’re a customer-centric brand and Merry Hill has a vibrant community, so we are thrilled to bring both our extensive range of lifestyle, technology and entertainment products and the exceptional service that Harvey Norman is renowned for worldwide.”
