Scandi DIY retailer Clas Ohlson makes its UK debut in Croydon’s Whitgift Centre.

The two-floor store, with access from the high street and the mall, is on the site of the former George standalone shop. Initial results have been highly positive, according to the retailer which will open its second store by April 2009.
