EE has opened its newest experience store in Bristol showcasing the latest in connected technology as well as different zones for shoppers to explore.

The Bristol store in Cabot Circus is the second EE experience store to open this year, following a launch in the Metrocentre, Gateshead in February.

The stores make up part of EE’s £6m investment into its store estate, with plans to open more than 10 stores before March 2025.

The inaugural launch of its experience store in Westfield London has seen a 250% increase in footfall, and the shop won Retail Week’s award for best new store.

The new Bristol site encourages customers to get hands-on with new tech launches in an immersive space, as well as providing shoppers with personalised advice from EE guides.

The store is designed to help customers “visualise their connected lives” across work, home, learn and game.

The experience zones include the welcome zone, which features a digital window canvas for customers to see the latest product launches and offers prior to stepping inside.

The gaming zone has the latest games and consoles for customers to game and receive advice from EE guides on bundles and plans.

Basecamp is an area for customers to sit down, use the workbenches and collaborative worktops, or speak to staff about products, services and repairs while enjoying a free cup of coffee.

The final zone is tech live, which enables customers to test out the latest tech on display before making a purchase.

EE retail director Asif Aziz said it is the group’s ambition to be “the most personal, customer-focused brand in the UK.”
