In pictures: Kiddicare opens its eighth store, in Enfield

Parent and child retailer Kiddicare opened its eighth store this week, in Enfield. Following the blueprint established in Nottingham where the erstwhile online merchant opened its first store last year, in a former Best Buy unit, this 33,000 sq ft, single floor store is an homage to multichannel.

This means that while there is a very large physical merchandise presence, for those wishing to explore the wider Kiddicare world, there are kiosks at almost every turn. On opening day however, the action was all in the shop, rather than online and shoppers turned out in force to make the store by far the busiest on the Crown Road retail park.
