Marks & Spencer has unveiled a makeover of its Westfield London store, where more space is devoted to homewares and its new baby offer is showcased.

Marks & Spencer’s Westfield London store has been extended by 22,000 sq ft by the addition of an extra floor. At 124,000 sq ft, the shop is now M&S’s fifth biggest.

Home has been extended from 5,500 sq ft to 15,000 sq ft and the retailer has introduced more roomsets.

Firsts at the store include a nail bar in the beauty department, a men’s personal tailoring offer and enhanced visual merchandising such as better outfit-building displays and accessorisation.

The approach is being adopted in M&S’s 70 top stores.

M&S style director Belinda Earl said: “I hope you can see a very clear statement that we’re sending style down the chain at M&S.”
