TK Maxx opened its doors yesterday in upmarket Covent Garden.

The discount fashion retailer opened in the former 20,000 sq ft Next store on Long Acre. Retail-week.com revealed in August that the retailer was planning to open up shop in the upscale area, among luxury retailers such as Chanel.

Covent Garden store manager Brahma Patel said: “We are very excited to be opening up the new store and bringing Covent Garden’s shoppers big savings on all their favourite brands.”
