Toy and game company Hasbro has opened the doors to a Peppa Pig-themed playroom at London’s Natural History Museum.

Open until September 10, the playroom offers an immersive play experience perfect for a family outing over the summer with activities such as story time with Peppa and her brother George, colouring and activities in the craft zone, and watching episodes of Peppa Pig.

The interactive space also has a range of Peppa Pig-themed products on offer including Peppa Pig wooden family figures, story books, themed clothing and Peppa Pots that “encourage children to plant ‘easy-to-grow’ seeds and nurture their plants while having fun playing with Peppa Pig characters”.

Hasbro UK and Ireland marketing director Sara Westby said: “As a brand that embraces building confidence and inspiring curiosity in little ones, Peppa Pig’s Discovery Playroom is a fantastic opportunity for children to explore nature through the eyes of much-loved Peppa Pig.

“We are thrilled to join up with the Natural History Museum to transform one of its retail spaces into an interactive experience for museum visitors and Peppa Pig fans.”

Natural History Museum retail commercial manager Sam Barnes said: “We are delighted to be working with Hasbro on this unique experience for Peppa Pig fans. The museum is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of advocates for the planet, so this discovery playroom is the perfect place for young minds to learn all about their favourite character’s love for the world of nature in a way that is fun for all the family.

“After unleashing their creativity in the craft zone, little ones are also sure to love our fantastic range of products that will continue to inspire them, from plants for them to nurture, to story books exploring Peppa Pig’s adventures with her friends.”
