US sportswear retailer Foot Locker has opened a new concept store at the Westfield Les 4 Temps shopping centre in La Défense, Paris, marking its continental Europe debut.
Foot Locker’s first store in Paris offers consumers a “premium shopping and unique customer service” experience with exclusives and special launches, and personalisation services unique to its stores.
First unveiled at Willowbrook Mall in New Jersey, US, the new concept aims to create “an immersive, cultural and convenient shopping environment” for consumers.
The footwear retailer said its “store in Paris signifies a pivotal moment for the French retail industry, making it the second market globally to launch this concept”.
The space features a communal try-on area, designed to promote the inclusivity of trainer culture, along with a Sneaker Hub offering personalisation services such as lace customisation and omnichannel features.
Frank Bracken, Foot Locker executive vice-president and chief commercial officer, said: “Foot Locker’s newest store concept in La Défense marks a revolutionary shift in retail and shopper interaction.
“This innovative, omnichannel experience allows sneaker enthusiasts to engage with our brand partners through elevated storytelling and enhanced digital connectivity.”
“As a priority market, Paris is the perfect location for our first European store of this kind. We’re excited to unveil it in time for the Paris 2024 Olympics, showcasing our commitment to innovation on a global stage.”
