Apple lifted the lid on its newest store in earlier this week, marking its 11th shop in New York and its second in Brooklyn.

One of the most unique of its flagships to date, the triangular store is located in the base of a recently completed 35-story luxury residential building in Fort Greene.

It opened just a year after Brooklyn’s first Apple branch, for which the tech giant broke with its signature clear glass design, opting instead for an exposed brick to mesh with the downtown neighbourhood.

Its newest shop, however, marks a return to form, with 30-foot tall panes of glass. It features a ‘Genius Grove’, with six fiscus trees, where shoppers can ask technical questions.

The site, just along from the Atlantic Terminal and Barclays Center, will also have a Whole Foods from early next year.
