High-end fashion retailer Flannels has opened the doors to its first-ever store in Ireland.
Located in the Blanchardstown Centre, Dublin, the 40,000 sq ft ground-floor space features dedicated zones that showcase apparel from the likes of Burberry, Creed, Versace, Stone Island and Tom Ford.
Items include designer clothing, accessories and footwear for men, women and children displayed across racks, glass cabinets and sleek gloss-finished stands.
An “evolving roster of new and emerging labels” is also stocked by Flannels, which now has 60-plus stores across the UK and Ireland and is part of the Frasers Group.
Pat Nash, managing director at Falcon AM, asset manager for Blanchardstown Centre, said the luxury offer at Flannels would “further diversify our fashion line-up here at Blanchardstown, broadening appeal significantly and speaking directly to demand from our catchment”.
“The news closely follows a host of other signings and openings, reflecting the success of investment in the centre over recent months in attracting premium brands that drive footfall and really enhance visitor choice,” he said.
“This opening is a great way to round off what has been a strong year for the centre. Confidence remains across the Irish retail market in the run-up to Christmas and we look forward to giving further positive updates in the new year.”
Blanchardstown Centre is said to be Dublin’s largest retail and leisure destination, covering more than 1.1 million sq ft and attracting an annual footfall of more than 16 million. Earlier this month, Zara opened its largest store in Ireland inside the mall.
The centre is also home to H&M, Hollister, Mango and Penneys among others.
