Fashion retailer Zara has reopened its flagship store in Manchester, showcasing its latest store concept with the “most advanced technology”.
The newly located and expanded space at Manchester’s Trafford Centre spans over 3,000 sq m over one floor, consisting of fashion for women, men and children.
There is also new space for fragrances and collections such as Zara Origins and Zara Athleticz displayed near the window.
The retailer said the new store displays the most advanced technology to deliver a “seamless, omnichannel experience”.
The solutions embedded in Zara’s new Manchester store aims to enhance the shopping experience and includes four assisted automated return stations for “faster, more convenient returns”, as well as two more automated drop-off points for online returns.
There is also a new assisted service table for a faster service flow, along with several assisted checkout zones across the store and accessible payment stations.
An automated silo system able to hold up to 1,040 packages for online order collection and an automated clothes sorting, movement, categorisation and restocking system has been implemented for staff to focus more on customer service.
The store also encourages customers to recycle online packaging through a cardboard collection point, as well as a used clothing collection container to extend the life of garments through its charity partner and a repair booking service.
The space has been developed with Zara’s architecture studio to offer a “welcoming and elevated experience” with interconnected rooms each with an identity of their own.
The reopening continues Zara’s newest concept for its global flagship stores, with a refreshed look, new product display areas, and advanced technology.
