Online marketplace eBay is set to open a pop-up on Tottenham Court Road for two days, offering a range of pre-loved gifts just in time for Christmas.

Called ‘Listings in Lights’, eBay said the store will be open on November 8 and 9 offering customers “pre-loved inventory from sellers across the UK together” in a “live shoppable light installation”.
Customers will be able to scan QR codes, which will direct them to the eBay website where they can shop for the products directly.
From November 2 to 6, eBay sellers will be invited to list items for a chance to see them promoted at the pop-up by using the hashtag #listingsinlights.
The marketplace said the ‘Listings in Lights’ concept was prompted by research which found that 55% of Britons would like to make a bit of extra cash before Christmas, while 66% said they had items in their homes they wished to sell.
“The festive season can feel overwhelming, and this year is no different,” said Kirsty Keoghan, general manager of eBay UK. “Listings in Lights is illuminating the streamlined experience, making it easier than ever for sellers to spotlight their items, and for buyers to find inspiration for everyone on their list.”
eBay recently removed selling fees to give buyers access to a greater selection of inventory and simplify the experience for sellers.
