What it does
Scoop provides in-store digital solutions for multichannel retailers. It offers a variety of tools to enhance shoppers’ in-store experience while enabling staff to provide up-to-date stock information and cross-sell recommendations, enhancing customer engagement and reducing lost sales.
Scoop provides tablet platforms for retail staff to access detailed stock information, while kiosks can also be installed for shoppers to see product recommendations.
Its range of services are designed to slot into retailer’s existing store technology.
“Scoop’s proprietary integration toolset makes it really easy to integrate with the systems retailers already have in place and easily update with the business in the future” says co-founder Richard Mason.
How does the technology help retailers?
Scoop’s technology is designed to combine the accessibility of online retail with the in-store experience of bricks-and-mortar shopping. By providing immediate and up-to-date access to which products are available in-store, as well as reviews and cross-sell recommendations, retailers can enable staff and shoppers alike to engage with their offer.
Created to decrease lost sales in store, Scoop’s offer also prides itself on being easily accessible to retailers.
“Retailers’ customer experience ambitions are hindered by their reliance on legacy IT systems, costs of upgrading and fear of investing in the wrong technologies” says Mason.
“Our customisable range of applications allows us to offer low cost trials so retailers can see the benefits without committing large amounts of resource or budget.”
