The biggest just gets bigger
Wal-Mart has announced its store expansion plans for the coming year. The retailer plans to open 40 to 45 discount stores and up to 250 Supercenters in the fiscal year beginning February 1.

The world's biggest retailer aims to open between 155 and 165 units in its existing markets. No details were given about how many of these would be under the Asda banner in the UK, although the retailer is expected to announce plans for its UK subsidiary in the coming weeks.
