French Connection has opened the doors on its its first pop-up “convenience store” in Old Street station, which allows commuters to pick up online orders.

The 1,000 sq ft click-and-collect shop, called F by French Connection, will enable customers to order online and pick up in store. Products ordered before 1pm can be collected the same day after 5pm.

It is set to stay open for for four months in the run up to Christmas, selling gifts and key pieces from its autumn 2014 collection.

French Connection has partnered with Appear Hear, a marketplace for pop-up space, and TfL to launch the Old Street store. It has said it would consider opening small outlets in other transport hubs.
